• KEY BISCAYNE PRESBYTERIAN CURCH, KEY BISCAYNE, FL

KBPC – From its inception KPBC partnered with CITA-EDU to video-tape Masters of Divinity courses in Spanish at its facilities. Today CITA-EDU broadcasts these intellectual properties of KBPC at no cost via its website freely accessed. While pastor of KBPC, the CITA director served the church by pastoring and training leadership, including Spanish and Portuguese speakers.

  • LAMP – LEADERSHIP AND MINISTRY PREPARATION

LAMP is a ministry of the Presbyterian Church in America that trains pastors in a local church setting using seminary courses in audio format. CITA-EDU provided eleven Masters in Divinity courses that Lamp uses for this training in Spanish. LAMP and CITA-EDU continue to collaborate to train and encourage church leaders in the PCA. CITA-EDU leadership is a frequent conference speaker on Hispanic American church development for LAMP’s oversight committee, including assignments in South Florida.

  • THIRD MILLENIUM MINISTRIES

Third Millennium Ministries provides Biblical training materials on the web in six languages. CITA-EDU and Third Millennium have a written agreement for a mutual exchange of courses. Specifically, CITA-EDU provides Masters’ level courses for the Practical Theology department of Third Millennium.

  • MIAMI INTERNATIONAL SEMINARY

MINTS is a local church-based leadership training program that employs a philosophy of the multiplication of professors throughout Canada, USA and Latin America. CITA-EDU leadership has taught ten seminary courses for MINTS. Occasionally, CITA-EDU teaches and tapes a live classroom of MINTS and CITA-EDU students combined. CITA-EDU leadership actively mentors MINTS pastoral candidates in south Florida. MINTS and CITA-EDU freely exchange bibliography and source materials in Spanish.

  • GRANADA PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, CORAL GABLES, FL

Granada currently hosts the studio for CITA-EDU to video-tape live its Masters in Divinity courses. CITA trained and mentored Granada’s effective Associate Pastor who cares for the Spanish speakers at the church. CITA has trained Granada church members who are currently serving as pastors of various denominations. Granada is partnering with CITA to mentor and encourage those who are, in turn, mentoring CITA-EDU students in south Florida and throughout Colombia, including sponsoring trips to that country, sending its own pastoral leadership for that purpose. CITA-EDU provides missional consulting to Granada for its international ministry at the local church level.

  • ASEMBLEAS DE DIOS, HOLGUIN, CUBA

The Assemblies of God in Cuba has partnered with CITA-EDU to train ninety new church planting couples. Because of the lack of an adequate seminary and the inaccessibility of the internet CITA-EDU has made available its courses on DVD’s and provided them to effective local leadership in the region of Holguin. Cuban national leadership does all the heavy lifting in terms of monitoring the progress of the students.

  • FIRST PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, CORAL SPRINGS, FL

First Presbyterian has established a training center study site in Spanish at their church using CITA-EDU materials. First Presbyterian very creatively combines their ESL program with a robust training in the gospel, selectively using CITA-EDU curriculum for that purpose. The Hispanic pastor at First Presbyterian effectively and enthusiastically networks for CITA and is responsible, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, for opening doors for CITA-EDU in Cuba and northern Colombia. He also collaborates with CITA in south Florida for identifying new Hispanic church planters and mentoring them. Rev. Toledo successfully encouraged the opening of CITA study sites in three other denominations in Broward county.

  • IGLESIA EVANGELICA REFORMADA DE COLOMBIA

This newly established denomination has officially embraced the CITA-EDU Masters in Divinity courses for training its pastoral candidates. They have opened study sites in Barranquilla, Santa Marta and in the region of Sucre. There is a free flow of fellowship and exchange of resources between northern Colombia, and Hispanic ministries and churches in south Florida. CITA has participated in providing not only courses, but also serving as a conference speaker for the northern region centered in Barranquilla. Mercy resources have been mobilized to Santa Marta by Cross International of Pompano Beach, Florida. CITA-EDU is actively networking with Cross International, and together with Rio Vista Community Church of Fort Lauderdale with the goal of a collaborative to provide holistic Word/Deed services to communities of the CITA network in Colombia.

  • IGLESIA BETANIA REFORMADA

This newly established denomination in the southwest and southern region of Colombia voted at their General Assembly in January 2018 to adopt the CITA-EDU curriculum as the official pastoral training curriculum for their denomination. They are highly organized and have opened training sites with mentors throughout the Country and in Ecuador. Their strongest study sites are located in Villavicencio and Cartagena. In return for the free materials provided by CITA-EDU, their key leaders have agreed to create courses and to be videotaped by CITA to help in filling out the required number of courses for the Masters in Divinity degree. The goal for Betania is 16 study sites using CITA curriculum.

  • EQUIP INTERNATIONAL – FAITH AT WORK

Equip International places church planters all over the world. In God’s benevolent

providence He has provided a close collaborative relationship with a very effective church planter in Spain. This EI missionary also trains new church planters.  He also has agreed to fly to Miami in January 2019 and be videotaped teaching his course that contains 50 hours of practical training for sharing the gospel.

  • HOPE CHAPEL

Hope Chapel, a church in the Country Walk area of southwest Miami, partners with CITA EDU in multiple ways. Their pastor a former missionary to Colombia has opened a plethora of contacts in Colombia and Ecuador who are in turn are partnering with CITA-EDU to train new leaders. The church has numerous projects in Colombia, and CITA’s director preaches at Hope Chapel in the pastor’s absence, who also serves as CITA’s board chairman. CITA trained and mentored the Hispanic leadership who serve at Hope Chapel.

  • MANANTIAL DE VIDA – VALDOSTA, GEORGIA

This amazing group of entrepreneurial immigrant leaders has already planted a large mother church in Spanish with plans to establish seven more around Valdosta. CITA-EDU is partnering with Bill Krispin, of Philadelphia, who has a 45 year track record of effective ethnic church and leadership development, and with pastors of this energetic Manantial movement to train the leaders and guide the strategy of planting churches in Spanish.
