CLASE 1 (primera parte)

En esta primera clase de “Evidencias de la Autenticidad Histórica de la Biblia” -parte uno y parte dos- el alumno podrá saber cuál es la perspectiva de Jesús con respecto al Antiguo Testamento.

Jesucristo consideró el Antiguo Testamento como un libro Histórico, de Autoridad y Sobrenatural. Cristo dice que el Antiguo Testamento es el MANDAMIENTO de Dios. La PALABRA de Dios. –

Se considerarán tres (3) componentes principales de la Biblia –

El Antiguo Testamento
Los 4 Evangelios (Mateo, Marcos, Lucas y Juan)
Las cartas que siguen después de los Evangelios – al hacer tres preguntas:

B. ¿Cuál es la actitud de Jesús con respecto al Antiguo Testamento?

C. ¿Cuál es la actitud de Jesús con respecto a su propia enseñanza?

D. ¿Cuál es la perspectiva de Jesús con respecto a las enseñanzas y subsecuentemente de los escritos de los apóstoles?

Un cuidadoso examen de más de 171 textos, en los cuales Jesús se dirige directamente a estas preguntas, demuestra que Jesús consideró los textos bíblicos como Históricos, de Autoridad y Divino.

CLASE 2 (segunda parte)

La perspectiva de Jesús acerca de Su propia enseñanza.

En repetidas ocaciones Jesucristo decía de sus propias palabras que:

1) Sus palabras son duraderas y permanentes.

2) Sus palabras llevan autoridad

3) Sus palabras son afirmativas

4) Palabras de juicio

5) La fuente de sus palabras son de Su Padre (Dios)

6) Sus palabras dan «VIDA».

La perspectiva de Jesús de las palabras, las enseñanzas, y subsecuentemente de los escritos de los apóstoles

1) Jesús concede una autoridad única a los líderes de la iglesia (piedras vivas) primitiva.

2) Jesús les daría las palabras adecuadas para situaciones amenazantes.

3) El Señor les revelaría aún más de la Verdad acerca de Sí mismo a través del ministerio del Espíritu Santo. –

LA CREIBILIDAD DE LOS EVANGELIOS COMO BUEN PERIODISMO

La siguiente presentación de Amy Shipley es especialmente significativa porque su propio testimonio es que ella fue guiada en su búsqueda de Dios por los documentos de Mateo, Marcos, Lucas y Juan principalmente porque al leerlos se sorprendió por su alto nivel de periodismo.

Amy Shipley es sumamente calificada para hacer esta observación por sus credenciales como académica de Princeton University y periodista que trabajó para el muy destacado Washington Post por 15 años.

Ella dice que como “la típica liberal de la costa este” (typical east coast liberal), creía que la Biblia era puro mito y leyenda. Pero cuando leyó los documentos del Nuevo Testamento, descubrió que no tenían ninguna gota de sensacionalismo, exageración, opinión ni perspectiva de un defensor, sino modestia, humildad y reportaje de puros hechos históricos.

Lo que Amy dice es que cuando los evangelistas escribieron los evangelios usaron tan buen estilo de periodismo, que ella como escéptica y periodista liberal fue convencida a creer en Cristo, en parte, por ser capturada por su profesionalismo periodístico.

Según las observaciones de Amy ellos ejercían los siguientes principios de un buen periodismo:

Reportaron objetivamente los acontecimientos sin involucrase a sí mismos en la historia, sin dar opinión ni argumentación. Solo reportaron lo que habían visto dejando que el lector decida.
Escribieron de los testigos en el lugar donde se encontraban no importando su estatus social. Por ejemplo, citaron los testimonios de muchas mujeres cuando en aquella época la mujer, en general y especialmente su palabra, fue muy poco respetada. Si un reportero quería convencer nunca hubiera hecho eso. Un escritor de leyendas o un manipulador tampoco.
Los evangelistas se presentaron a sí mismos en la historia con honestidad y transparencia, no como héroes y súper religiosos sino como hombres defectuosos reportando sus temores y cobardía y que eran muy lentos para creer. Eso también les da mucha credibilidad.
También reportaron los momentos de dolor y angustia de su principal personaje Jesús, y no como un hombre intocable sin emociones. Eso también les da credibilidad.

«En fin, el lector no se siente forzado, manipulado, ni presionado. El lector es más apto para creer lo que los evangelistas escribieron porque escribieron con modestia, sin opinar, solo reportando los hechos sin exageración ni adorno. Al practicar un buen periodismo, escribiendo pura historia muy bien documentada, ellos llegan a ser muy convincentes». – termina diciendo la periodista Amy Shipley

En esta muy interesante clase, vamos a prepararnos para poder contestar algunas preguntas frecuentes que hacen los escépticos. Existen 6 ataques muy comunes.

Aprenderemos la gran importancia de tener cuidado en el momento que estamos hablando con una persona escéptica, de empezar en el mismo nivel de conocimiento en que la persona escéptica se encuentra. Nunca decirle cosas que no pueda entender o no esté preparado para entender.

El problema de hoy del evangélico es que nos hemos convertido en una “religión” llena de superioridad y orgullo con respecto a varios temas. Sin embargo cuanto más crecemos en la comprensión de la Gracia, más nos damos cuenta lo gran pecadores que somos.

En otras palabras «No hay nada que podamos llevar de nuestras indignas obras ante la presencia de Dios. Cuando nos enfrentamos a la presencia misma de Dios en la eternidad, lo único que podemos decir al Señor es: Traigo el sacrificio de Cristo muriendo por mis múltiples iniquidades».

No. El evangelio no produce un cristiano lleno de orgullo y soberbia. El evangelio produce cristianos agradecidos con un corazón contrito, arrepentido y humillado. Es lo que el mundo debe observar en los cristianos.
